Within the School Campus various facilities are
provided for the safety and welfare of the
students. They include Transport, Food, Stand-on Power supply, Mineral water
plant and Fire-
fighting Equipment. The quality of school's environment and its facilities
has a strong influence
on student's learning. Besides regular use in organizing and managing
school's activities, record
of school's physical facilities and material resources such as furniture and
equipment can provide
data to derive many indicators for assessing the quality of education in a
school.
School record and report data in the annual school
census about the availability of basic
facilities, such as clean water, separate toilets, electricity, kitchen/canteen,
telephone and various
other facilities and services in school. Administrators at various levels of the
education system
can use this information to evaluate the environment and physical facilities of
schools they
oversee and then prioritize and plan the upgrade or improvement of facilities.
From the beginning children learn about communication,
whether it is looking through a picture book to learn the name of household
objects, asking dad for more juice, or negotiating with a sibling about sharing
a toy. In other words, communication is a major part of childhood. Communication
training is vitally important for elementary school students. Communication
skills help children develop healthy interpersonal relationships, evaluate
mediated messages, and learn to present themselves in effective and competent
ways to others.
The school is equipped with stand - by generators for
uninterrupted power supply. The
generators are noiseless power generators that ensure uninterrupted power supply
within the
campus. The school power supply is set at 230V AC. Please ensure that any
appliance is set for
that voltage. All electrical sockets are three pin. We have our own generating
system, which
supplies power to the school community during power cuts. Please check with the
school first
whether you should have any concern regarding the suitability of electrical
equipment required to
be used by your child. We have used best material for our electrical system to
be safe against
electrical hazards.
The electrical system will be checked periodically by
the school electrician to ensure total
safety. Our large stand-by generator supplies power to all boarding houses during
mains power
cuts. school electrical technician can check any concern about the suitability
or condition of
electrical equipment. Voltage regulators and surge protectors are advised for
larger electrical
devices, as the school cannot be responsible for damage to personal equipment
that is the result
of a power surge. For reasons of safety, students may not burn bug coils,
incense, and open
candles, or use heaters, kettles or toasters in their rooms.
The school has pure drinking water for the children.
A hydro-pneumatically operated water system is present in the campus. Our School
specializes in manufacturing and installing a qualitative range of Water
Filtration Plant, which is widely used to eradicate the impurities of the water
and make it reusable.
Manufactured with utmost precision, these filters
removes the suspended solids, precipitated
irons and other impurities by trapping these into a media. The processes
involves downward
passage of the water through the media, which traps and removes the impurities.
The drinking
water for the children was duly tested and approved by the Health Department.
Water on campus
is drinkable. Bethlahem Matric Higher Secondary School has its own borehole; the
water is then
treated and supplied to all buildings and staff houses. Regular tests are being
administered on
the treated water to ensure its quality and suitability for drinking is
maintained.
